Things to keep in mind about girl!Ventus.
-- She has not left Land of Depature as of her pull point.
-- Social butterfly and likes making new friends.
-- friends = Everything.
-- Trauma of vanitas birth delayed the onset of her puberty. She's only now just starting to physically mature into a woman.
-- Her canon has done a FULL gender swap.
-- She's met Vanitas, but does not yet know her name yet. Fun times indeed.
-- As far as the derp knows, she has always lived at the Land of departure.
-- ...darkness is icky and should be avoided.
